Technology: Augmented Reality, Web and Software Development
Nissan Saudi Arabia was in search of a creative and innovative way to promote the newly launched Nissan Altima at the Defy Ordinary event in Jeddah (KSA). We conceptualized seven art pieces, each incorporating elements related to both the Nissan brand and its Japanese origins, where the car is manufactured. These artworks were displayed in an art gallery at the event.
A key component of our promotion strategy was the development of a web-based Augmented Reality (AR) application. This application facilitated an immersive and interactive experience by bringing the art to life, utilizing the visitor’s phone camera directly within their mobile browser.
To start the experience, visitors simply scanned a QR code or visited the web link to open the AR camera, without the need to download or install any applications.
