Atlantis, The Palm

The Lost Chambers Aquarium - Interactive Museum Guide

Technology: Proximity Based Technology

Atlantis the Palm wanted to attract more visitors to the Lost Chambers Aquarium with an interactive tour guide, and treasure hunts mobile application. The goal was to engage young and old on a journey to discover the mythical city of Atlantis, like never before. Unveil the secrets of the Atlantean civilisation by solving mysterious puzzles, games and learn about the astounding marine world surrounding it.

The application is part of an on-ground interactive guide for the Lost Chambers, using the latest proximity-based Technology (iBeacon) for context and proximity aware push notifications. The mobile app supports multiple languages (English, Arabic, Chinese, Russian and German) and is available for Android and iOS devices.
