Citibank wanted to demonstrate the adoption of new technology and the evolution into a better digital bank by using the latest gesture and tracking based technology, the Leap Motion device. The objective was to engage the customer in a game and showcase the ease of use of Citibank’s online banking service.
The goal of the game was to crack the code of the vault and do a dummy transaction on a replica of Citibank’s online portal as fast as possible by using gesture control interaction in the game. Before presenting the final scoreboard, the user was displayed a digital cut-out screen. The visitor had to position their head in the designated area to take a snapshot. The best snapshots were chosen and published on social media channels.
