Frequently asked questions
How does the Interactive RFID Table work?
Each object on the table carries a small RFID tag. When a visitor places an object on a marked spot, a reader under the table recognises it and the matching content plays on the screen, such as a film, an animation, a 3D model or product information.
Which objects can be used?
Almost anything, such as product samples, scale models, 3D-printed figures or branded tokens. An RFID sticker underneath is all an object needs. The one limit is metal. It blocks the signal, so the object should not be made of metal where the sticker sits.
How many topics can one table show?
As many as you have objects. Several objects can share one spot on the table, each opening its own content, and a table can have several spots that each control a different part of the screen.
What do you supply for an RFID table?
We develop the software and supply the RFID reader, the RFID stickers and the computer that runs the installation. The table, the screen and the objects come from the client or the stand builder, so the installation fits the stand design.
Can the content be shown in several languages?
Yes. The table can run in as many languages as you need, with a switch on the screen. For Kalba City Municipality, it ran in Arabic and English.
How early should we get in touch?
That depends on the project. For many formats we do not start from scratch. We build on a proven framework and adapt it to your design and content, which saves time. A completely new development needs longer for design, development and testing. Contact us as early as you can, and we will tell you what is realistic for your date.
Is your team on site at the event?
Yes. We set up and test the installation and support it on site, in the UAE and abroad.
