How does the QR Code Treasure Hunt work?
Players look for QR codes hidden around the venue. Each code opens a task on their phone, such as a riddle or a question, and a clue to the next location. Correct answers earn points, and a leaderboard shows who is ahead.
Do players need to download an app?
No. The treasure hunt is a web app. Players scan the first code and play in the browser of their phone.
What kinds of tasks are possible?
Riddles, multiple-choice questions, timed puzzles, photo tasks and creative tasks such as writing a slogan. Each location can have a different activity.
Who looks after the content during the event?
An admin panel lets the organisers edit the locations and tasks, follow the game on a dashboard and export the player data afterwards.
How early should we get in touch?
That depends on the project. For many formats we do not start from scratch. We build on a proven framework and adapt it to your design and content, which saves time. A completely new development needs longer for design, development and testing. Contact us as early as you can, and we will tell you what is realistic for your date.
