QR Code Photo Wall
A QR wall for events. Guests scan a code on the screen, and their photo or a hidden image appears in its place. Branded, in real time, on any phone.
Our immersive, interactive social wall will attract and engage guests at your event. On a TV, screens or LED Wall, visitors will find digital QR codes. By scanning these, visitors are redirected to a web app landing page, that reveals part of the image behind.
Alternatively, users enter and post their inputs (photos, data, polls, etc.). The shared data will be processed on the server and displayed on the wall, replacing the scanned QR code.
The app is easy to use, fully customizable (including branding and input form/data), and, best of all, it works seamlessly with any smartphone and tablet web browsers.

How does the QR Code Photo Wall work?
A large screen shows a grid of QR codes. Guests scan one with their phone and take a selfie or upload a photo. The photo then replaces the code they scanned, in exactly that spot on the screen. Together, all photos can form one large picture. A scan can also simply reveal what is behind the code, which can be part of a picture, a video or an animation.
Do guests need to download an app?
No. The photo wall is a web app that opens in the browser of any smartphone or tablet.
What kind of screen does it need?
A TV, several screens or an LED wall. For the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, the wall ran on an LED screen ten metres wide. The screen comes from the client, the agency or the venue.
Can guests share more than photos?
Yes. The form can be changed to collect other input, such as names, messages or a poll, and guests can be asked to register first.
Can the design be customised?
Yes. The layout, the colours, the animations and the picture that the photos form are designed for your event and brand. The start screen with the QR codes can be branded too. For the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi, the codes were arranged in the colours and shape of the UAE flag.
How early should we get in touch?
That depends on the project. For many formats we do not start from scratch. We build on a proven framework and adapt it to your design and content, which saves time. A completely new development needs longer for design, development and testing. Contact us as early as you can, and we will tell you what is realistic for your date.
