overview

To promote the launch of _Masameer County_ in cinemas across KSA, Netflix created an interactive AR experience triggered by the popcorn packaging. The popcorn box featured both a QR code to access the experience and a printed image marker to activate the AR effect.

ECHT ME developed the mobile WebAR experience using image target tracking, allowing visitors to open the experience directly in their mobile browser without an app. After granting camera access, users pointed their phone at the popcorn box, triggering an animated video with synchronised audio to appear over the packaging.

The experience also included a built-in screen capture feature, allowing visitors to record their AR moment with a branded _Masameer County_ watermark and save or share the result.
