The Porsche Macan, the world's first sports car in the compact SUV segment, was revealed to an excited audience at exclusive events in the United Arab Emirates, Oman and Kuwait. The introduction marked Porsche's pioneering move into a new segment, following in the footsteps of the brand's most successful model in the luxury SUV range, the Cayenne.

## The show

Under the theme "Life, intensified", a phrase that sums up what the Macan represents, the evening built up to a vivid dance performance. The costumes were designed by [Art of Entertainment](https://artofentertainment.net/), and ECHT added the LED technology that turned them into moving lines of light.

The dancers performed around a large, cube-shaped stage structure covered in lights, with the Macan launch film projected above them. The LED costumes were wirelessly synchronised with the music, so the colours and patterns on the dancers changed exactly in time with the soundtrack.

## Why LED costumes

- In a darkened hall only the lines of light are visible, so the dancers seem to draw with light on stage
- Wireless control keeps the performers free to move, with no cables or visible technology
- The colours follow the music, the film and the brand, creating a memorable, photogenic moment right before the reveal

## The result

A thrilling crescendo to the launch evening that captured the spirit of "Life, intensified" and gave guests a moment to remember.
