overview

The BP Carbon Capture Arcade Game is an interactive, single-player touchscreen game designed to educate players about BP’s carbon capture initiatives through fast-paced, engaging gameplay.

In a 60-second round, players must connect factories, plants, and ships to a carbon-collecting pipeline network, transferring captured carbon to an offshore compression facility. The game rewards quick thinking and fast reactions, with scoring based on successful collections and speed. As rounds progress, the challenge increases, keeping players engaged.

The game features a local leaderboard to display top scores, encouraging friendly competition and replay-ability. Additional interface elements include a looping screensaver with BP-branded messaging during idle periods.
