Challenge your skills and climb the leaderboard today!" --- # AstraZeneca – Touchscreen Puzzle Game Client AstraZeneca Technology [Touch Technology](https://echt.me/services/touch-technology), Game Development Product [Touchscreen Quizzes and Games](https://echt.me/products/touchscreen-quizzes-and-games) Location KSA [Video: AstraZeneca – Touchscreen Puzzle Game - project video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElyWa3Wbf1Q) overview AstraZeneca wanted an engaging activity for its roadshow for healthcare professionals in Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: something that would draw people to the stand and keep them there. ECHT developed a touchscreen sliding puzzle game, inspired by the classic physical sliding puzzle many of us remember from childhood. ## How it worked The game ran on a large, table-style touchscreen. Under the message "Take a break and solve the puzzle!", players slid the tiles into place to complete an image from AstraZeneca's "Redefining cancer care" campaign, while a large timer counted every second. Players who got stuck could tap "I give up" and let the next person try. ## A daily competition The roadshow ran over three days, and every day had its own leaderboard. At the end of each day, the fastest players were announced and the winner received a prize. The team simply selected the current day in the app, so each day started with a fresh competition. ## Why it worked - Easy to understand at a glance, with no instructions needed - Short, timed rounds kept the queue moving - The daily leaderboard and prize brought players back to beat their time - Campaign visuals were part of the gameplay, not just placed around it ## The result The positive response from players showed how appealing the game was, and the touchscreen format made it a perfect fit for a busy roadshow setting.
